Robin Betterly Dollhouse 1/4 Scale Kit Cranberry Cottage, Landscape, Lighting Kit

From Robin Betterly's Miniatures. What can we tell you about Cranberry Cottage? This "Bow Roof" cottage is loosely based on a 1/24 design that we did in the early 80's. I think it was 1985 or 1986. Either way it was over 30 years ago, but some designs are meant to be reinvented.

We are so pleased with the way this quarter inch little house emerged from our earlier design. We have fresh ideas, better cutting tools (thank you laser) and wonderful new printing capabilities, not to mention a full design team. This style of colonial bow roof homes dates back to the 1600's.

The earliest existing bow roof home was built in West Falmouth Massachusetts in 1678. This style is also called whaleback, hogback and rainbow roof. The timbers for these roofs were cut green and laid over rocks and weighted until they cured. The House - Thankfully we don't have to wait for the timber to cure as it's all been engineered and cut just right for you to easily build our little house.

The doors are all made to open and close. The house kit includes all of the pre-cut wood for the house, floors, doors, trims, etc.

As well as all wallpapers, shingles, precut siding and the base. It's everything you need to build the house. We even supply the little bathroom details.

Well, all the parts you can see peeking through the door. This includes the kits to make the house, landscape, and lighting.
